Parallax websites seems to crop up more and more as of late. When a client recently asked me about creating a parallax scrolling site I knew that the effect is no longer just for those with particularly nerdy web design inclinations.
If you’ve been following my “Best of Web Design” posts each month, then you’re in a minority. Because so few of you come to read these posts, I’ve decided that tweeting interesting articles and pinning cool websites throughout the month will have to suffice.
This month was all about looking forward to the rest of 2013 so this round up will be all about predictions, tutorials to help you improve your craft, and words on improving your business.

October was a very nutty month around these parts, but I still managed to find time to keep up on new & interesting happenings in web design. So let’s jump right into the best of October 2012.
It warms my nerdy little web design heart to find beautifully designed websites and interesting, web design related reading material. So, naturally, I want to share my finds with you all, and pass on the excitement I felt discovering them.

Fashion runways around the world are teeming with inspiring designs and this time around, the color trends are on the loud and bright end of the spectrum. So let’s take a look at the trends, the websites that were ahead of the curve in using these trends, and why not get inspired for your next project along the way.
Web designers draw their inspiration from all sorts of places, it’s pretty hard to get away from all the various types of design around us. And while I might not be the most fashion forward person, that doesn’t mean that I don’t get inspired by the colors, shapes, and styles I see in fashion.
So, I thought it would be interesting to see what websites are following the latest fashion trend. And since color is one of the easiest criteria to evaluate – voila, let’s take a gander at the fashion color trends and the most fashionable websites this fall.
