Case Study: increasing engagement for Childhood Disability LINK, a non-profit directory of healthcare information

Childhood Disability LINK: Network of Medical Research Websites

We’ve recently launched a website that we redesigned and developed for Childhood Disability LINK. This organization is based out of Montreal Children’s Hospital and it’s goal is to provide helpful, evidence-based information for caretakers, medical professionals, and parents of children with disabilities. They knew that they had an engagement issue but we helped them uncover what their audience actually wanted and needed, to make the website design a success. We ran an ethnography study and two rounds of usability testing to make sure that the new website answered not only the organization’s needs but also the needs of its audience. We then used our findings to inform the design process and finally developed the new WordPress website for easy content management.
